Cherryiee Bomb

palindrome |ˈpalinˌdrōm|
noun
a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backward as forward, e.g., madam or nurses run.
I wish I could say that the second photo was taken the same day as the first, but alas, it is not. The first photo is of me, when I was seventeen, my senior year, two year and a few months ago. In comparison to the second photo, it's like night verses day.
There's the obvious, hair, place, age, etc. And then there's the not so obvious, how I've changed in maturity, my wants, my needs, my hopes and dreams. I'd say my dreams have stayed the same, but expanded much more over time.
It's also to say, that during this time I still talked to someone who I just found out died two days ago. Facebook wasn't the way I would have liked to find out, but it's better than nothing...I guess. I'd say the only impact he really did for my life was open my eyes to the Minnesota hardcore underground scene and what an amazing band, Get Young is/was.
I'm not really sure how I feel about his death, nor how I feel completely when I look back at this photo. I know for a fact that for a seventeen year old, I was quite mature, but I look back now, and can see how naive and unaware I was then.
