This card was inspired by Day 2 of Spring Card Camp - make your own stripes. I used the 2 skinnier stripes from SSS Brush Stroke Messages on a block to stamp the background. The SSS Flickr Challenge right now is "Splatter it," and I thought that went well with the artsy look of the background. So I watered down some Black Soot Distress Ink and went to town with the splatters. I used some images from Bold Flowers by SSS to create the focal point flower cluster. It was getting a little lost, so I mounted it on a stitched circle die by SSS. Finished it with a simple sentiment from the same SSS Brush Stroke messages set.
I found a new-to-me company called Dare2BArtzy through the virtual GLMM event this weekend, and they have a challenge on their blog, too! Their current theme is "In the Garden," so I'm also linking up there (blog.dare2bartzy.com/tag/challenge/)
