Summer is Nature!
What's the best part of summer? Being outside! I live in Michigan surrounded by beautiful lakes. The current SSS Flickr Challenge is all about summer. I'm also taking the OCC Creative Chemistry 101 for the first time. This was a Day 2 technique - Blended Spritz and Flick :) I masked off the center area and blended in 4 nature-y colors of Distress (Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron). Flicked on a little water (or a lot of water in a few spots) and let the water do its magic. Added the tree outlines from the SSS One with Nature Set and finished it with a sentiment from the same set.
The SSS Wednesday Challenge is all about Masking this week. Note to self, water over masking tape bleeds a wee bit. I did a little white gel pen magic to try to make it less visible. Don't look too closely ;)
CASology is celebrating their 200th challenge this week. The focal point has a lot going on with the technique, but I think it still has enough white space to count as CAS? And it's a one-layer wonder!
