Watercolours

A long exposure from my early morning trip up to Ullswater yesterday. I went up there with a completely different shot in mind, but was quite happy with this one in the end.

 

This shot reminds me somehow of a vintage railway poster, something about the muted colours and the solid block of blue at the bottom I think.

 

No foreground interest, but hey - rules are made to be broken, right?
