He's a Sculptor, Engraver, outstanding Smith, Painter and Watercolour Artist, displayed at the Orsay Museum.

Born Marie Eugène Henri Auguste NOCQ January, 13th 1868 in Paris, he died in 1944.

He's known in Arts to be the designer of Joseph JOFFRE's Sword, and of the WWI Greek Inter-Allied Victory Medal.

Author, he published Books on Arts, a number of them about Smithery. Of whom, from 1926 to 1931, the absolute 'Summa' in five Volumes titled "Le Poinçon de Paris" (the Hallmark of Paris), Treatise that's still nowadays the reference Work.

Taking Part in the Questioning of Hierarchy between major and minor Arts, he was a Member of the Group "Les Cinq" (The Five), later transformed in a Movement, "l'Art dans Tout" (Art in Everything).
