The Flyingboat pictured here is the Prototype, weighs 24tons, and is equiped with four 650HP Hispano-Suiza 12 Nbr Engines.
She had to sink and break, December 17th, 1931 after Overturn due to centering Problem. Test Pilot Jean GONORD and Flight Engineer VERGES were unharmed.
Refloated and rebuilt, she obtained a temporary Airworthiness Certificate for french State, under Registration F-AKCU, and entered in Development Phase between September 1932 and July 1933.
August 9th, 1933 she received her final Airworthiness Certificate, the Registration F-AKGF, and was operated by Air France.
