Launch of the Rwanda E-Waste Recycling Facility - 4 December 2017
This project is led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and financed by the Rwanda Green Fund.
In April 2014, the Rwanda Green Fund (FONERWA) invested close to US $1.5 million (Rwf 1.26 billion) in a project that provided for the design and implementation of a national e-waste management strategy, including the establishment of an e-waste recycling facility - which was led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
