Vitorchiano old city center
Vitorchiano, an ancient center a few km from Viterbo, is one of the many but pretty villages of Tuscia. The beautiful historic center is characterized by the gray color of the peperino stone and by very suggestive alleys, arches, stairways and squares. Equally suggestive and, sometimes unexpected, are the belvederes towards the forra of the Fosso Acqua Fredda, a tributary of the Vezza River. Recently it has been included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
