'Autumn park scene' ; Nov. 2017 (ReflectaX120 negative scan).
Photographed November 2017 / Kodak Sterling II folding camera with 'transplanted' Kodak Special Anastigmat 100mm/4.5 lens. ILFORD 3200 rated ASA 1000 developed in PYROCAT-HD (5ml A + 25ml B > 600ml, 8min @ 20*C). Negative was 'scanned' to SD card in a Reflecta X120 scanner unit, image was processed & finished in Flickr. The results obtained scanning this (6cm X 9cm) negative with the Reflecta X120 Scanner unit are quite adequate though it must be said are hardly 'archival' quality. Compared to the result obtained by illuminating the negative on a light box and scanning with an iPad using Film Scanner app there is little to tell between them. The Reflecta X120 is very convenient to use over the iPad/light box technique however and does give VERY SLIGHTLY better resolution in my opinion. The Reflecta X120 does its job of getting the negative into a digital form for comparatively small financial outlay but don't expect it to perform miracles!.
