'Alexandra Gardens' : Kodak 1A autographic / ILFORD DELTA 3200
Photographed August 2017 / Kodak 1A Autographic Jr. (1916-24) with Kodak Anastigmat 130mm/7.7 lens. Camera was re-configured to transport 120 film (originally 116 format). ILFORD 3200 rated 1000 ASA developed in PYROCAT-HD (5ml A + 25ml B > 600ml, 10min, 20*C). Negative was illuminated on a light table and 'scanned' with an iPad mini using Film Scanner app. Image 'processed' in Flickr. This combination of ILFORD 3200 / PYROCAT-HD is pure magic! Tight minimal grain pattern and plenty of punch in the negative ...shadows (zone III) packed with detail while the whites are under control and not blocked ; smooth grey scale; tones silvery and flowing. The film speed advantage over a 400 ASA film allows a smaller f stop I think the exposure here was 1/100 sec @ f 32.
