Steam Locomotive 46103 at Leeds City Railway Station.
In 1967 remodelling of Leeds took place and trains using Central Railway Station were diverted into the City Railway Station - which became the main railway station serving the city. Central Railway Station was then closed and has been demolished.
This dates this picture to pre 1967 before the remodelling.
46103 was previously LMS 6103. It was built in 1927 by North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow.
Originally a 6P Fowler design it was improved and rebuilt by Stanier. and was based at Leeds Holbeck Shed (20A).
Withdrawn in December 1962 it was then towed to Crewe in September 1963 and cut up.
