National West Riding, Plaxton Paramount Coach.
A324XHE a Leyland Royal Tiger B50-33, Plaxton Paramount 3500-1, new April 1984 to National Travel East.
By the time of this photo the vehicle had lost its National Travel East identifiers and received WEST RIDING lettering but had retained its unique striped arrow livery. Livery variations were frowned on and very rare in NBC days so this coach must be privileged!
The vehicle sports chrome wheel trims, spot lights, Plaxton badge along with pantograph style wipers on the lower; main section of a 2 piece windscreen. White headrests on each seat with vertical striped moquette.
The coach would go on to receive another impressive livery of RIDINGS TRAVEL with huge red lettering covering the upper side panel on a white, blue and grey livery, itself unusual, but no less impressive.
