Sunbreaker

This moment lasted less than 90 seconds. Looking west over the frozen surface of Lake Ontario the dark clouds briefly gave way to this sunburst as I was exiting the park. It was so cold I feared frostbite on my nose and my camera functions had noticeably slowed down. Before I knew it, all that remained was a dark overcast sky and the unrelenting assault from headwinds blowing in from the northwest.
