My heart

confined in the

aftermath of war.

War of feelings

shipwrecked

a blind man.

Who can ever tell

the cause?

And would there

be a remedy?

My mind an endless meadow

now merely

a lawn.

Once stretched to infinity

now confined by

fences of resentment.
