The Kranhaus ("crane house") is a 17-story building in the Rheinauhafen of Cologne/Germany. Its shape, an upside-down "L", is reminiscent of the harbor cranes that were used to load cargo off and on to ships. The building is approx. 62 meters in height and is designed by Aachen architect Alfons Linster and Hamburg-based Hadi Teherani of BRT Architekten. (see Wikipedia)
