Sycamore Gap, Hadrian's Wall

This sycamore tree lies on the line of Hadrian's Wall and is a popular stopping-off point for photographers and wall-walkers. This is a long-exposure (4 minutes) using a Sigma 24mm lens on the Canon. The exposure was reduced in post-processing to highlight the tree and its spectacular location in silhouette. The Wall is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
