They show a clear understanding of the starting point 'Past, Present and/or Future' because it relates to ageing/growing up. To create diptychs was initially my idea at the beginning, after seeing the work of Irina Werning (Back to the Future).
While looking at her body of work I realised that i really loved the way you could get a closer look at how people changed and you can visually see it rather than using your own memory to remember what that person looked like.
It told me, and its supposed to tell others, that despite the fact that hair, makeup, skin, wrinkles and age would have changed significantly over many years, the person that they are has not changed.
