Private Schools Sep 10

The question "Is Segregation Really Abolished?" is a springboard. To officially have desegregation you must have equality. One of the theories of achieving equality focuses around the point of education. Everyone must not only be getting education but also a higher level of education if the process of desegregation is going to occur. However even though that is true, private schools - the one's that are giving out the higher education - are predominately white and then almost all of the minorities that do attend come from higher income families which does not help the cause in anyway. As you can tell from this photo this classroom is almost all white giving that fact that there may be some minorities that just aren't inside the shot. The real way is to give the African Americans from lower income families the opportunity to achieve that higher level of schooling. Instead of keeping blacks out, get more of them to come in to the schools to break that cycle that has been continuously been developing of staying in poverty.
