Knapps, Kilmacolm, Scotland
With the weather in Scotland being what it is (two storms over Christmas with winds of over 100mph on the mountain tops), opportunities for photography are limited. It gives me a chance to process work from earlier in the year that I never got round to looking at. This was a morning at Knapps Loch which initially didn't look promising, then this happened for 5 minutes. My photography mantra is - if you don't try, you don't get - but I draw the line at climbing mountains when its 'blowin a hoolie' (howling gale).
