Sutter Place renovation ribbon cutting October 30, 2017
Sutter Place at 5801 Sutter Avenue, Carmichael was built in 1980 and had never been substantially rehabilitated. Interior improvements included replacement of the flooring, cabinets, counters, energy efficient appliances, HVAC, water heater systems, windows, electrical units, LED lighting, sinks, plumbing, low-flow toilets, faucets and showerheads, and tub surrounds. Security cameras and digital video recording systems have been installed. Exterior improvements addressed siding, gutters, patios, balcony railings, fencing, trash enclosure, walkways and parking lot. The roof has been replaced, and water efficiency has been increased with installation of an updated irrigation system and drought-tolerant landscaping. Site entrance signage and new monument signage were also added. Project developer is Domus Development.
