Im 12. Jahrhundert wurde das Gut St. Salvator von einem Raindinger an das Prämonstratenser-Stift Osterhofen geschenkt. 1288 kamen zwei Brüder, vielleicht Laienbrüder aus dem Kloster Osterhofen, auf das Gut St. Salvator. Mit der Erhebung des Gutes zur Probstei 1309 wandelte es sich zu einem Prämonstratenser-Stift.
In the 12th century, a Raindinger donated the St. Salvator estate to the Premonstratensian monastery in Osterhofen. In 1288 two brothers, perhaps lay brothers from the Osterhofen monastery, came to the St. Salvator estate. With the elevation of the property to a provost in 1309, it was transformed into a Premonstratensian pen.
