With the purchase of the Maine Central, B&M and the D&H run through power became common on the Maine Central and it could be found most anywhere on the system. BR-2 has a GP40-2 and a pair of Maine Central U25B's for power as they rolled through Augusta, ME. The Low Road has been severed and West of the Kennebec River Bridge in Augusta to Brunswick it is owned by the Maine DOT and will likely never see a train again.
