CPR Canadian Pacific FP-7A #1402 off Train No 41 Windsor Station, Montreal, QU 09-15-76
I had a friend who worked in the CP's Power Bureau in Montreal when the railroad was headquartered there. When our schedules worked out I would jump on No 41 to hang out with LBC for the day before returning home on No 42 that night. FP7-A #1402 was our power on No 41 and has already cut off from the train, I ran to the Boundary going back to crash in a roomette and walking through the engine room it was evident that this unit had a class overhaul recently. The cars would go to the Glen for servicing the move handled by a yard job. The power would be handled by outside hostlers back to the Glen as well. The Glen is no more.
