MEC Maine Central Plow Extra GP-7 577 Westbound Starbirds Foxcroft Branch 03-08-77
The Foxcroft Branch was the one branch on the Maine Central that I photographed the most I think. I would often run across the local or catch a plow while coming or going. GP-7 #577 was the first Maine Central Geep I ever road in and became friends with the engineer and fireman attending their retirement parties along with attending their funerals. Here Plow Extra 577 still in its original paint scheme is headed westward towards Newport Junction as they pass through Starbirds.
