CVSR RS18U #1822 Independence, OH
I'm not a big fan on tourist railroads but when an opportunity presents itself to be photograph one that operates with MLW's I will consider it. My first night in Ohio on the road to Summerail found us staying literally minutes from the CVSR so that morning we spent some time catching a Northbound and Southbound runs. Originally built for the CP in 1958 as their 8799. In 1984 it was rebuilt in Angus Shops located in Montreal coming out as their #1822, sixty years later it remains in service, it was good to see and hear an old friend
