OS Dresser

Part of my railroad career including being a Train Dispatcher long before Donkey Kong and when you could look at your train sheets, if you were any good and tell what orders you were about to sign for when you took the transfer. An old time dispatcher that I qualified with said don't lie to your sheets and your sheets won't lie to you. Being a boomer I dispatched trains in 11 different states much of it blind using my timetable and track profiles. One of these such line's was the Wisconsin Central's Dresser Subdivision now owned by the CN. It has been about 20 years since I dispatched this line and our charter was getting ready to leave Dresser, the former station restored with all sorts of neat memorabilia is worth a visit if you are in the area. The gentleman holding the is a retired train dispatcher IIRC. Got some items I can check off the bucket list, first time I have ever been on a photo charter, first time I photographed the Minnesota Commercial to name but a couple.
