MEC Plow Extra 562 Foxcroft, ME 01-11-77

The Maine Central's Foxcroft Branch came off the mainline at Newport by the late 70's there was little online business left except for the large IP wood yard that would load out 22 cars of pulpwood 5 days a week. This line was in one of many snow belts that are in Maine and a plow powered by GP-7 #562 has been called to perform the honors today. The 562 is no longer on the roster and the line has been torn up and is a rail trail owned by the state
