For a period of the time the Mountain Subdivision local was based out of Bartlett New Hampshire and was schedule to go to work around 1100 making the roundtrip to Gilman and returning to Bartlett ahead of the arrival of RY-2. If another unit was required for RY2, they would pick up ZO-2's power setting it off on their Eastbound trip for the next day's operation of ZO-2. Good utilization of the locmotivie. With a short train ZO-2 is westbound at Twin Mountain NH. The tracks remain here and are used by the Conway Scenic to reach the interchange with the New Hampshire Central at Hazens.
