YR-1 East St Johnsbury, VT 12-21-79
YR-1 was always a good chase out of St Johnsbury even during the shortest days of the winter. With a pair of GP7's spliced by a pair of U18'b's which were the last new units purchased by the Maine Central YR-1 rolls along the Moose River in East St Johnsbury, the track remains in place but the ownership is contested and it is doubtful that trains will ever run on this part of the railroad again.
