FP7A # 1304 was originally purchased by the CP and delivered as their #1430 being renumbered to the #4074. As it was steam equipped it was a freight visitor to Maine in both freight and passenger service, in 1982 this unit was sold to the Montreal Commuter Agency and renumbered to the #1304.
