Bangor Engine House 9-10-83
Back in 1983 GTI hosted a railfan excursion between Boston and Bangor using MBTA equipment running via the "Back Road" on the eastbound trip to Bangor and via the "Lower Road" on the westbound trip. I spent the night in Bangor at the Holiday Inn which was with walking distance of the Bangor Enginehouse. When the power was not being used it was broken up and put inside. Tonight we find 3 different models from 2 builders awaiting the next call.
