331 SW-7 Bangor, ME Oct-74
The Maine Central purchased 3 SW7's and 2 SW'9's in the early 50's they were used to eliminate the steam helpers based out of Bartlett, NH along with providing power for the locals. They did work on some jobs on the Portland Division but spent a great deal of there career working out of Bangoron either the Bucksport or Oldtown jobs. SW7 331 along with sister #332 are on the service track at Bangor in there as delivered and slightly faded paint, the SW's would last into the Guilford era.
