custom binding ( for a friend )

re-using old boards from a recovered book, a journal trying a few different ideas. the green leather by the headcap was placed on an old cog and then sanded. the green leather is goat, the red: polished kid. the pale leather is kangaroo, which forms the closure strap, ending in a face of eyelets and blanket-stitched end.
