Hi everyone it is @grammy1 posting for Josh who, as you can see, is out riding horses on the Gettysburg battlefields with Miranda. It is the 7th day of our Johnson Family RV Odyssey. .
Some of you are too young to realize how absolutely awesome mobile vid is ! Humor me a moment for some nostalgia. I remember bringing a big metal Bell and Howell movie camera to capture family movies. I won my first in a school sales contest in 7th grade 1961 :-). As I remember, you threaded the film with great difficulty around little wheels in the camera. Then, if you did it right, you took the movie (it went click, click if it was working right)
Then you carefully took the exposed film and placed it back in the tin box it came with (which you had to be sure you didn't loose or it was all over.) Then you took it to the camera store and waited a really long time. Then you gathered the fam, thread the film reel through the projector hung a sheet and watched 10 minutes of really expensive, bad family movies with great joy. .
Yesterday in real time IG brought me a video of my granddaughter and son riding a roller coaster and this morning a horse! How can that be? I don't know but this Grammy lives in continuous gratitude for such amazing technology. .
