The Making of This Photo:

This photo was difficult to get just right. At first, I wanted to have the celery peeking out from the middle of the fruit pile, but I could not get the full effect of the celery when it was framed this way, so I put the celery on top of the bananas and this fixed the problem. As far as editing went, this photo was also difficult, the photo looked fake and as if it had been made in paint when the saturation of the celery was pumped up, my solution was to have this photo, unlike the other ones, have a bit of a more faded colour. Still, surreal because it is red celery, but faded.

 

What This Photo Offers:

Contrast, Balance, Framing, Diagonals, and Rule of Thirds.

Contrast is found in this photo in two ways, the celery is coloured where as everything else is black and white, and contrast is also found in the texture of the photo. The inside of the celery is exposed where as everything else has it's skin.

This is a balanced photo because the fruit is evenly placed and evenly covers the photo.

Framing is obvious in this photo because the tomato, orange, and apples form a kind of ring around the celery.

Diagonals are found in this photo in the way the bananas are situated to lead the viewers eye towards the celery.

And lastly, the rule of thirds is also found in this photo because the celery is off centre.
