Memories
This is a shadow box that we've had for years. It is filled with a lifetime of memories.
Top shelf: has the top of our wedding cake (3/30/74) and the champagne glasses that we used for our toast...then Sarah & Ted used them when they got married 10/25/08.
Shelf #2 has a Jesus statue I gave my Grandma, a Pinewood Derby car I carved, a Ceramic turkey I made when I was 5. Hidden from view is a silver mandolin my Mom gave my husband.
Bottom shelf:Pinewood Derby trophies for myself & my husband, a taxidermied toad I bought for my sister to torment her, My first ceramic doll, A little Crying Sailor statue my Grandma had that represented me as a child - I cried all the time, and lastly a tin with an old Tupperware cup in it...the kids called it "The Brown Hornet" and would fight over who got to use it..it has actually disintegrated and smells HORRIFIC!!! Sarah tried to make it a casket when it died but the cup was a bit too big...instead it has it's own tombstone.
