Dotonbori Osaka Japan
Perhaps the loudest and most brash neighborhood of Osaka, this is really a must see when visiting Osaka. A sea of neon surrounds this neighborhood with great cheap eats such as Takoyaki, fried octopus balls or Kushikatsu, breaded and fried meats and veggies. I hung out here with my wife, my ex-pat friend Nick and a few other ex-pats we met along the way. We essentially spent the evening buying beer from a local convenient store and spent the night people watching on a bench along side the Dotonbori canal.
