The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Greensburg, PA, devoted to American art, with a particular concentration on the art of southwestern Pennsylvania. This is a great museum - I highly recommend it! I was especially lucky to visit during the “A Shared Legacy: Folk Art in America” exhibit which was an unexpected treat! The renovation (appeared to be a new building until I watched the time lapse construction video) is great, the cantilevered wing exhibit hall is impressive, take notice of the staircase with glass treads and stainless steel side structure leading to the upper level and the cantilever gallery addition. 221 N Main St, Greensburg, PA 15601. The pattern of the zinc paneling, which wraps the cantilever, reflects the internal geometry of the truss structure.
