Aer Lingus Fokker 50 EI FKC on pushback from the terminal at Edinburgh (EGPH) in May 2000, while Toronto bound Air Transat Boeing 757-23A C GTSF awaits entry to backtrack the runway for departure. At the time both thresholds here were unconnected to the to the parallel Taxiway.
C GTSF delivered new to the airline in Dec 1992 and WFU in 2003, this airliner passed on to Comco as N225G that same year and to date is still active, little is known about this company but rumours have circulated that it does business connected with the US Department of Defence.
EI FKC served Aer Lingus from 23/02/90 to 28/11/03 this propliner is still active with Mandeeq Air (Somalia) as 6O YAS since Nov 2002, acquired from previous operator Skyward Express Kenya (5Y SMT).
Photo taken from the then excellent viewing gallery, later during the enlargement of the terminal a new one was not provided, a pity as I shot many memorable pics while this old gallery was still in existence, like the above example.
