Derelict ATP
British Aerospace ATP(F) SE LPU of West Air Europe with many parts missing at Coventry Baginton (EGBE). Built in 1993 and meant to be delivered to new start up airline Ireland Airways as EI COS but this did not happen. After a period of storage acquired by British World Airways in 1998 as G OBWO, in service with that company until 2001. Converted to cargo configuration in 2002 before delivery to West Air Europe but withdrawn and stored at Coventry in 2015, then used for parts to keep other airframes flying. Its present status is as a Fire & Rescue Training Aid at Baginton.
The airport is now a mega construction site due to a battery giga factory being built, having regulary looked in over the years it was sad to see,......progress?
