Baldwin M2 Mikado
Norfolk & Western M2 2-8-0 1134 at the Railroad Museum of Virginia Portsmouth VA.
Built by Baldwin of Philadelphia in 1910 and retired in 1950, sold to a scrapyard that year and forgotten about. Re-discovered in 2009 along with 2 others of the class rusting away for almost 60 years.
1134 has been cosmetically restored and arrived at this museum in May 2010, an absolutely superb job they have done too.
Have a look on the net for 'The lost engines of Roanoke' for the story of 1134s re-discovery and the other M2s in 2009.
