Kai Tak
A varied line up at Kai Tak airport Hong Kong 6th May 1994, at centre right can be seen half a B747 fuselage, this is the remains of a China Airlines Boeing that ended up in Kowloon Bay after a runway overrun 8 months before my visit. My vantage point here was an 11 storey block of flats with an outside staircase, in a return visit in 2006 I received a shock in that ground floor security doors had been fitted sometime during my 12 year absence!. I had to contend with a muti storey car park near by.
