Wooden Egg
For Macro Mondays theme of "Hobby."
The egg is from my hobby of wood turning and is one of the few items I have made that is small enough to qualify for the group. It's made from a local Carob tree with a total length of about 60 mm and is shown in a bed of shavings created during other wood turning projects. The color is natural and the finish is walnut oil.
It's fun to make these from small scraps and give them away to friends, relatives and acquaintances.
