Pink Tulip
I'm starting to get the hang of my new toy. The focus is a bit troublesome still, but I can set it via the auto-focus, which I have set to the center point focus to give me more control, and then I can fine tune it to where I want from there. Part of the challenge here is that I'm limiting my depth of field by shooting wide open (f/2.8) and so I have only a sliver of a band where the focus is. It takes a delicate hand, but that's exactly what I was hoping for with a "big girl" camera. So, YAY!
I should also state that this is a SOOC shot. I only pulled it into PS Elements to add the white "polaroid" border and my website. No color tweaking or sharpening or anything! Pretty cool!
Canon EOS 50D
64mm, f/2.8, 1/100 sec, ISO-320, WB-Auto
