Flavor of the Week
Ever since the daily Selkirk-Framingham manifest Q436 switched to a later schedule, it's been the most popular train on the old Boston & Albany. This is now the only road freight that runs east of Worcester, a far cry from the Conrail days. Nowadays, the line is used primarily for commuter rail to and from Boston. I had some time on New Year's Day to try my luck, ultimately deciding on the abandoned overpass at Fisher Street, Westboro, right around milepost 34. The train was a little later than I would have liked, having been held by the Keolis dispatcher back at Worcester, but the shot still worked out satisfactorily.
