LED POED
After a frustrating chase out of Ayer where the light was thin at best, the sun finally popped out as Pan Am train POED started backing down track 2 in Gardner for a 17 car tail end pickup. On point is MEC C40-8 #7552, one of three GEs in Pan Am blue and thankfully the only unit with an LED headlight. This would be the end of the line for both myself and the 0500 crew, who ended up pulling the train another half mile to west to Parkers and tying down.
