A Lucky Escape!! Eine glückliche Flucht. Un escape afortunado. Une évasion chanceuse.
We watched in horror as this Audouin's Gull snatched a mallard duckling as we walked around a lake. We thought it's days were numbered but it managed to escape as it's parents kicked up a fuss and the gull dropped it and it managed to swim back to the safety of it's parents. Taken on a recent visit to Spain.
Wir sahen entsetzt zu, wie diese Möwe ein Stockentenküken schnappte. Wir dachten, die Tage seien gezählt, aber es gelang ihm zu entkommen, als seine Eltern einen Aufstand machten und die Möwe es fallen ließ und es schaffte, zurück in die Sicherheit seiner Eltern zu schwimmen.
Vimos horrorizados cómo esta gaviota arrebataba un patito de ánade real. Pensamos que sus días estaban contados, pero logró escapar cuando sus padres armaron un escándalo y la gaviota lo dejó caer y logró nadar de regreso a la seguridad de sus padres.
Nous avons regardé avec horreur cette mouette attraper un caneton colvert. Nous pensions que ses jours étaient comptés, mais il a réussi à s'échapper car ses parents ont fait des histoires et la mouette l'a laissé tomber et il a réussi à nager vers la sécurité de ses parents.
