White-headed Duck - Female (Oxyura leucocephala)

I uploaded a male white-headed duck a few weeks ago - this is the female of the species.

 

These stiff-tailed ducks are a rare and endangered duck, native to Spain, North Africa, Western and Central Asia. Populations are declining. I found this one in the wild in Spain.
