Dunnock (Prunella modularis)

We decided to have a drive out to the coast and found this Dunnock foraging on the rocks beside the beach.

A Dunnock (which is generally quite dull and unobtrusive) has unusual mating habits. It forms one-male-two-female or even one-female-two-male trios when breeding.

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fav my images.
