Love is in the Air!
Bee-eaters do indeed eat bees, as well as other insects, which they catch in elegant swooping flight. They seem to be somewhat immune to bee and wasp stings, although they do wipe away the stings of their prey before swallowing them.
Taken in the Costa Blanca, Spain, in dull conditions. They were a fair way off as well.
